Kenneth Fleetwood Williams, Sr.
Kenneth Fleetwood Williams, Sr., 67, died at his residence Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
Kenneth was born, February 19, 1952, in Halifax County, son to the late Ervin Fleetwood Williams and Nellie Mae Wheeler Williams. Kenneth was a loving husband and father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Dean Duke Williams and his sister, Kathy Bell.
Surviving are his son, Ken Williams, Jr. of Jackson; brother, Ricky Williams of Northampton County; brother-in-law, Jimmy Duke of Jackson; first cousin, Raymond "Dicky" Wheeler of Northampton County. Also surviving are several nieces and cousins. Revs. Roy Porter and Warren Heintzenrater will conduct a memorial service Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Jackson Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made in honor of Kenneth Fleetwood Williams, Sr. to: Jackson Baptist Church, 306 N. Church St., Jackson, NC 27845 and/or Community Homecare and Hospice, 525 Becker Dr., Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
